MAKE YOUR ADMINISTRATORS TRUE EXPERTS

QContent Boot Camp is an intensive skill-building training program designed to certify webmaster and Web administrators in the use of the QScend Technologies suite of website management products. This 3-day program provides attendees with a thorough understanding of how the QScend software suite functions, including, but not limited to:

1) QCore – user and group management.
2) QContent – user and group access permissions; using pages, links, files, images, and tables; working with content feeds, GEO content, file browsers, and photo galleries.
3) QScheduler – user and group access permissions; scheduling, registration, and calendar options.
4) QPolling – user and group access permissions; polls and surveys.
5) QNotify – user and group access permissions; email list management and distribution.
6) QForms - user and group access permissions; file management and display.
7) Product Integration.
8) Product Administration.

Prerequisites
Trainees must have basic prior knowledge of the QScend product suite, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of the Internet and website purposes and functionality. Attendees should be able to make content, organizational, and other e-government decisions while completing work within their municipality's control panel. Any local departmental discussions with regard to what needs to be accomplished should be completed before attending.

Day 1 (Full Day)
Overview of QContent, from the Content Management Tab through the Administration Tab. Trainees will learn how each area functions, examine how to work in each area, and learn how to train others to do the same. Classroom activities include hands-on practice and actual work sessions, as well as discussions of best practices in website and content manager management.

Day 2 (Full Day)
Actual website tune-up work (building out or re-organizing) within a municipality's control panel, and the implementation of several QContent tools, including Content Feeds, GEO content, Photo Galleries, and Minutes Manager. Discussions on this day focus on the implementation and integration of the other QScend products. Trainees also are instructed in how to use the remaining QScend products (excluding QAlert).

Day 3 (Full Day)
Continued work building out, re-organizing, or integrating the various QScend products, question and answer review session, plus a QScend products certification examination.
