QSCEND ANNOUNCES WEBSITE CONTRACT
WITH CITY OF BRIDGEPORT, CT

WATERBURY, CONN. (July 27, 2012) - QScend Technologies, Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut, to completely renovate its website using QScend’s software suite of Web-based products. (Print PDF)  

With QScend’s QContent™, Bridgeport staff will be able to create numerous RSS feeds, interactive GEO Content, photo galleries, email forms, and more. In addition, staff also will be able to make quick changes to each department’s web pages, thereby providing more up-to-date information, news, and event notification to the city’s residents.

In addition, the citizens of the City of Bridgeport will benefit from the implementation of QScend's:

• QScheduler™, which provides an easy-to-use calendar of events with customized notes for each entry; and,
• QNotify™, which enables citizens to receive in their e-mail box anything from event reminders, to meeting minutes and agendas, to weather cancellations, to new website updates – to name just a few possible uses.

The City of Bridgeport's intranet initiative is also powered by QContent, while B Connected, the city's 311 citizen service initiative and call center, is powered by QAlert, QScend's municipal CRM system that allows the city to log, route, track, and report on various issues and interactions with its citizens.
